We have an amazing opportunity for an ITS (intelligent transportation system) Service Delivery Manager to join the team in Dublin, this is a very unique role which is pivotal for the business. We will consider Graduates with demonstrable leadership skills.

What you will do

Build, configure, test and commission all aspects of the Inter-Urban/Urban portfolio to the customer’s specifications and ensure contractual obligations, terms and conditions are met. You will learn how to develop SCATS-compatible (Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System) traffic signal controller configurations and communications with the Scats Master system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using Scats applications and tools (CPERS, NGEN, WinTraff) build, test and commission Scats-compatible traffic signal controller personalities in the greater Dublin area
  • Interpret the client’s complex traffic management requirements and configure software code to deliver the specified signalling functionality
  • Provide monthly reporting on events at signalling and communications equipment
  • Ensure the client’s data repository is maintained and updated in line with contractual SLAs
  • Develop and carry out witnessed FAT and SAT testing procedures for LUAS light rail signalling
  • Train, develop and support a team of 3 technicians
  • Manage the client’s expectations at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental accreditations.
  • Provide technical input into the Technology team regarding potential improvements to Dynniq products, or feedback / market intelligence or competitors’ products
  • Provide technical support to Field Technicians
  • Represent the company’s best interests at all times.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • Engineering or computer applications/science background
  • Knowledge of Traffic Principals
  • Good electrical/ electronic knowledge
  • Demonstrable skill in the use of the MS office suite of applications to a high level especially Access (ODBC) and Visio
  • Knowledge of IP Communications principles and security
  • Knowledge of storage media and appliances, Tortoise SVN and data repository management and versioning
  • Excellent Client facing communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead and support a small technical team
  • Ability to work to deadlines
