Description

We have a very exciting opportunity for a QHSSE Business Partner to join Dynniq’s rapidly expanding team in Dublin, Ireland.

What you will do

  • The role of QHSSE BP is to be responsible for carrying out a range of activities related to QHSSE management in consultation with the relevant managers within the
  • To ensure compliance with QHSSE legal requirements, as well as raising the profile of QHSSE throughout the business, including internal & external audits & close out of
  • General day-to-day management of QHSSE, including all accident/incident investigations.
  • To undertake the role of PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage) for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), Dublin City Council (DCC) & other client projects.

 

Some other responsibilities

  • Oversee the Company works to ensure compliance with legislation for Ireland QHSSE.
  • Management of OHAS 18001 certification and on-going maintenance in order to continue certification.
  • Creation of new QHSSE policies, procedures, processes, documents, templates, standards, toolbox talks, risk registers, legal registers, & safety alerts as required
  • Review, publication and communication via Wiki and QHSSE monthly reports of Q, H&S, S, E or Information Security Systems documentation created by others
  • Schedule appropriate annual inspections - FIRE/PAT/PUWER/Security Penetration etc.
  • Review, implement and report on key information for QHSSE objectives and KPls for Ireland.
  • Monitor and review customer's feedback and complaints re QHSSE issues.
  • Representation of the Company at external forums e.g. HSE, client, HEA.
  • With the QHSSE team, maintenance of external certifications including CHAS
  • Construction line, Link-Up, Building Confidence and various external sub-contractor approval documentati Provide support & advice in the completion of QHSE sections of tenders.
  • Reporting of accidents & incidents internally & ensure company operates in accordance with any relevant legislation, General Application Regulations, Ireland, Environmental Reporting
  • Conduct management system internal audits in Ireland, then liaise with relevant departments to endure external audit I inspection non-conformances are suitably resolved.
  • Advise management on the creation of Construction Phase H&S plans
  • Maintain an up-to-date library of generic risk assessments, COSHH assessments and method statements
  • Review QHSSE inspections carried out by managers and others.
  • Keep on top of industry I legal changes to anticipate future needs
  • To work closely with the QHSSE team to be familiar with QHSSE issues/topics across the BU so that there is synergy across the department and BU.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • NEBOSH Construction or General Certification
  • PSCS training
  • Comprehensive experience in H&S Management
  • Creation and operation of ISO & other management
  • Strong communicator
  • Efficient time management
  • Effective prioritisation and delegation
  • IT knowledge for use in projects.
  • Strong experience in H&S Management in a similar industry
  • Delivery of PSCS role for TII and DCC projects
  • Good customer focus
  • Willingness to travel and reside overnight, dependent upon business needs.
  • Full driving licence
  • Right to live and work in Ireland
