We have a very exciting opportunity for a Systems Architect to join Dynniq’s Inter Urban Systems team, working on new projects in our Dublin office.

What you will do

The main purpose of the role is to provide the key system knowledge and technical expertise that will ensure service delivery contracts, within in Inter Urban Systems are managed and delivered in line with contract specifications, whilst ensuring that financial expectations of the contracts are achieved. This will include the analysis of customer requirements in order to provide innovative technical solutions; the development and promotion of in-house development proposals and act as the Technical Lead within IU Projects and Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical oversight of service delivery; including fault monitoring and reporting, trend analysis, reactive and planned maintenance activities.
  • Technical oversight of design, development and testing activities during system and product enhancements.
  • To provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring that project goals and objectives are communicated and understood
  • Participation in project planning and progress reporting, risk management, and health and safety compliance.
  • Identification and implementation of system and process improvements.
  • Development and oversight of test strategies during system and product development.
  • Participation in project planning and progress reporting.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • Degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification (Ee.g Prince 2)
  • Proven experience in a similar role with exposure to full product life cycle involvement.
  • Good communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proven problem solving skills, an in depth understanding of system and product development, and ability to draw up new system designs.
  • Ability to use in-depth technical knowledge to contribute to business development.
  • Methodical approach, versatile, flexible approach to work.
  • Able to communicate technical ideas to non-technical people.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, self-starter.
  • Full Driving licence.
  • Willing to travel when necessary.
  • The Right to Work in Ireland.
