Description

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join Dynniq’s Dublin team.

What you will do

The role of a Project Manager is to own an opportunity from the bidding phase through to a successful handover of the works to the client. They will assist in identifying the required resources, internal and external for an opportunity based on the requirements for the bidding phase. The successful candidate will also agree resource availability with the appropriate line managers and supply chain ensuring all resources are available to deliver the opportunity and at contract award will initiate a project launch. They will assist commercial and procurement teams to obtain competitive prices for the solution and capture the internal resource requirements. Preparation of a finance template for sign off at the appropriate level. On success of the opportunity they will be accountable for the delivery of the project, on time, on budget and to the specification. 

In addition to the above you will be responsible for 

  • Customer and stakeholder liaison and management through regular meetings and clear communications.
  • Co-ordination of project team and activities.
  • Progress planning, monitoring and reporting to meet the project requirements.
  • Financial planning, monitoring and reporting, including cash flow billings and variations.
  • Ownership of risks registers, ensuring mitigations are implemented and residual risks captured and reported.
  • Management of key project disciplines including QHSE, change and communication.
  • Management of subcontractors and key suppliers.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfill the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects, preferably in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong customer-facing skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Confident presenter
  • Full driving licence
