A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our excellent HR team in the Basingstoke office.

What you will do

As the Human Resources Business Partner the main purpose of this role is to work in partnership with senior leaders and managers to support achievement of Dynniq’s strategic objectives through aligned people plans and solutions. The successful candidate must have a proactive and pragmatic approach whilst ensuring best practice is required. Ideally experience will have been gained in an engineering/construction environment but what is more important is a customer service ‘can do’ attitude.

Some Key Responsibilities

  • Build an effective partnering relationship with managers, senior managers and directors in designated areas of Dynniq and Dynniq’s sister company World Parking Solutions (WPS).
  • In conjunction with the Head of HR, UK & Ireland and Regional Operations Managers deliver large scale projects including redundancies, restructures and TUPE processes.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and the L&D Business Partner.
  • Advise, guide and support staff and managers on all HR disciplines and policies to drive effective HR practices.
  • Keep abreast of current legislation and best practice taking on board external research findings.
  • Work closely with and support all HR team members and provide cover for the Head of HR, UK & Ireland, as appropriate.


What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable HR experience, some of which should be in a similar role in a large or medium sized organisation.
  • A qualified professional Member of the CIPD (Associate, Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD).
  • A demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and its application is required, with the ability to apply that knowledge to a range of situations and contexts. Including restructures, redundancies and TUPE requirements
  • Knowledge and exposure to Irish employment law would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of Microsoft Office, HR databases and excellent spreadsheet skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
