We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer to join Dynniq’s Field Engineering Services team.

What you will do

You will work as part of FES Team on engineering activities such as installation, commissioning and testing of the network infrastructure. This will include passive and active testing of installed equipment. You will become an advocate of ITIL v3, ensuring its practices and procedures are deployed within the business and keep up to date with future ITIL developments. The successful applicant will have a proven record demonstrating proactive approaches to setting and running “on-the-ground” engineering.

Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring that QHSE regulations and procedures are followed at all times.

Although predominantly based in the Leicester area, there may be a requirement from time to time to work in other Service Centre districts which may involve overnight stays.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • An HNC (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience of telecoms cable characteristics including Fibre Optical Cable variations, Copper Cable variations and structured Building Cable (server farm) infrastructures.
  • Proven track record of understanding Telecommunications technologies at a Systems Engineering and engineering installation level.
  • Excellent document drafting skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
